Last year I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Gregg and Lydia’s elegant and intimate wedding at Hidden Hive in Swadlincote. They were guests at a wedding I photographed back in 2015 – unbelievable how time flies! They loved the photos that I produced for their friend’s wedding and how relaxed I am as a photographer, easily integrating into the day and having a laugh with the guests. At their friend Leona and Matt’s wedding they asked me to promise them I would do their wedding if they ever got married and so here is their day!
The beautiful and off the grid location of The Hidden Hive served as the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony, which radiated warmth, love and laughter.
Following the ceremony on site at the Hidden Hive Gregg and Lydia were greeted with their their loved ones and they exited the ceremony room in a long arch to sheers and laughter. We let the happy couple mingle with their guests before we then we took some family and group photos outside the registry office as well as some beautiful couple portraits in and around the lovely setting of the Hive.
The Teepee tent setting was the setting of the Wedding breakfast for their celebrations. Against the backdrop of twinkling lights and elegant decor, they all enjoyed delicious food and raised their glasses in a toast to love, happiness, and the newlyweds.
